DESCRIPTION
ALLEN bronze gate valve contain the same quality features found in the heavier valve. Handwheels are of the “Non-Slip” design. Name Plates are securely attached ALLEN logo embossed to readily identify each valve. Stem is a special alloy. The stem head and neck are size larger for greater strength. Repacking back seats are above stem thread and are perfectly machined to form tight seat and permit repackit under pressure when valve is wide open. Stuffing boxes contain ample space for packing. Hexagon Head Gland in all sizes permits easy fitting with a wrench. Single Wedge Discs are heavily proportioned. Thread in hub of disc engages stem thread, raising of lowering the disc as the stem is turned. Threads are fully engaged whether valve is open or closed. There are no unnecessary threads inside the disc to collect foreign matter that causes extra wear.
